Twister Media Group was founded in 1997. Dutch by origin, but always internationally active, the main focus has been on German-speaking markets. Today, our operational subsidiaries are situated in Germany, Switzerland and The Netherlands.

Twister Media is a family business, characterized by long-running relationships with customers and proud to employ a dedicated workforce with people that have been with us for over two decades. Our core focus is to enrich the relationship between mass media and their audience, because we believe that bringing creators and audience closer together creates more exciting and entertaining experiences.
Historically, and still today, our main services are based on telecommunication technologies like telephone and SMS. Applications of such services for mass media audiences are called 'mass response services', examples of which include televoting. Twister Media was the first to implement such mass response applications in Europe, notably with televoting in the famous Big Brother TV productions. In 2004, Twister Media launched the first Pan-European televoting platform, annually enabling some 120 million viewers in 40 countries to vote for their favorite performers in the Eurovision Song Contest.
As technology moves on, our attention increasingly shifts towards software, with smart devices allowing for more exciting and engaging ways to interact with media content. Consequently, we are actively expanding our app development expertise and business across offices in Leipzig and Amsterdam.
